Aquaprime™ 104
A range of matt, water-based polyester overprint varnishes delivering the desired look and performance requirements for the industry. Varying degrees of matt effect can be achieved including intense matt, high matt, and ‘soft touch’ matt.
Aquaprime™ 104 performs well with pasteurization, has excellent mobility performance leading to lower plant downtime, and excellent necker performance allowing for lower can rejection rates. Its abrasion performance is as good as standard OPVs, which means brands can achieve differentiation without the aesthetics of the cans being affected in transportation.

Aquaprime™ 105
Aquaprime™ 105 is a leading water-borne gloss overprint varnish for beverage cans designed for high-speed decorators with good flow and surface levelling. It is resistant to necker tooling pick-up, even at high speeds, and has optimized slip ability to deliver excellent mobility through can and filling lines. It has superior scratch resistance and abrasion performance resulting in higher gloss retention. It also has excellent performance for pasteurization including re-bake.
Aquaprime™ 105 meets and exceeds the demanding requirements of can makers and brand owners and has a long and established history of performance across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia.

Aquaprime™ 250
Our retortable overprint varnish for high temperatures is perfect for beverage packs such as ready-to-drink herbal teas. Aquaprime™ 250 has taken the market-leading position in APAC and is recognized for its excellent retortability and higher abrasion resistance performance.
Aquaprime™ 250 is compatible with different inks, has excellent gloss retention even in a high temperature process, and is sufficiently robust to accommodate different necking processes even at higher speeds.

Aquaprime™ 800
Aquaprime™ 800 is our external coating for beverage ends which is PFASni, low VOC and low formaldehyde. It is a versatile water-based coating, well proven in the North American market.
